Who we are

Heylert Systems, Unipessoal Lda., company tax number (NIPC) 519258665, registered at Rua Carvalha, 570, Parceiros, 2400-441 Leiria, Portugal, is the controller of the personal data collected on this website. For any privacy question, contact us at info@heylert.com.

What data we collect

We only collect data when you contact us through the form: name, organisation, email, phone (optional), areas of interest, message and the language you used. We do not ask for sensitive data; please do not include it in your message.

To protect the form from abuse, our hosting provider processes the IP address of each request transiently to limit repeated submissions. This website does not store it.

How we use your data

We use your data only to reply to your request and, where applicable, to follow up on a proposal or business relationship you asked for. We do not use it for marketing without your specific consent, we do not sell it and we do not make automated decisions based on it.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent, given in the form, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Protecting the form from abuse is based on our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure (Article 6(1)(f)).

Who we share it with

We use service providers that process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting and abuse protection;
  • Resend — delivery of the emails generated by the form (notification to us and confirmation to you);
  • Google Workspace — the mailbox where we receive and answer requests.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, namely in the United States. In those cases, transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified, or on standard contractual clauses approved by the Commission.

How long we keep it

We keep contact requests for as long as needed to reply and then for up to 24 months after the last contact, unless a contractual relationship begins — in that case the legal retention periods for that relationship apply. After that, the data is deleted.

Your rights

You may at any time request access to your data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing, portability, or object to processing. You may also withdraw your consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Just write to info@heylert.com.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Portuguese data protection authority, Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies or any analytics or advertising tools, and does not load third-party content.
